It is important for the designers to understand the trend, and design a product that would satisfy the user’s needs.
Overtime on-the-go products for meal and snack carriers has evolved and consequently there is about a $2.3 billion consumer market.
The market would continue to grow because:
Rising food prices that are discouraging waste and creating motivation to store and carry food
The rise of eco-conscious consumers who want to save money
The rise of the health-conscious consumer
For this project, we were to identify the user needs through research, and conceptualize the product.
